AROYA
Over 1,200 handcrafted pieces — from poolside loungers to lounge sofas — for Saudi Arabia's first national cruise ship.

Project Overview
When Cruise Saudi set out to transform the former World Dream into AROYA — a vessel that would introduce an entirely new standard of cruising to the Red Sea and the Mediterranean — every detail had to reflect a vision of contemporary Arabian luxury. Working closely with SMC Design London, the lead interior architects on the project, BLOOM furnished the majority of the ship's outdoor decks during a comprehensive refit at the Bredo shipyard in Bremerhaven. More than 1,200 handcrafted pieces now shape the guest experience across AROYA's open-air spaces: the Palace Pool sundeck with its signature cabana daybeds, the Lido pool deck lined with sun loungers, the elevated lounge terraces with panoramic views, and the intimate seating areas along the promenade. Each piece was designed to endure the demands of a maritime climate — salt air, intense UV exposure, tropical humidity — while offering the refined comfort guests expect from a luxury vessel. The collaboration resulted in outdoor spaces that feel both generous and considered: warm woven textures set against the clean lines of contemporary deck architecture, creating environments where guests naturally settle in — whether for a morning by the pool or an evening under the stars.
