Adora Magic City
Daybed pods, lounge sofas, sun loungers, and bar seating across the outdoor decks of China's first domestically built large cruise ship.

Project Overview
Adora Magic City is a landmark vessel — the first large cruise ship designed and built in China. When she entered service in January 2024, she signalled a new era for the Chinese cruise industry. At 136,000 GT and over 320 metres in length, she carries more than 5,000 passengers on voyages from Shanghai, and her outdoor spaces needed to reflect both the ambition of the project and the expectations of a discerning new cruise market. BLOOM was selected to furnish key outdoor areas throughout the ship. The Sunny Bay adults-only sundeck features BLOOM's signature woven daybed pods and curved lounge sofas beneath sculptural sail-shaped canopies — creating a resort-like atmosphere high above the waterline. Around the Ocean Current Deck and Beach Club pools, BLOOM sun loungers line the water's edge, while the poolside bars are furnished with woven bar stools and armchairs designed to withstand the subtropical Pacific climate. Every piece was crafted for marine-grade performance: UV-stable synthetic fibres, corrosion-resistant frames, and quick-drying cushion cores. The aesthetic is deliberately light and contemporary — white woven textures, clean curves, and soft neutral tones that complement the ship's modern architecture and create inviting spaces from the first morning sun to the last evening breeze.
