Hotel Monika
Sun loungers and lounge furniture for the rooftop Skypool and suite balconies of a design-led wellness hotel in the Sesto Dolomites.
Project Overview
Hotel Monika stands at the foot of the Sesto Dolomites — a family-run house that has evolved over three generations from a mountain guesthouse into a 43-room adults-only wellness retreat. A comprehensive 2025 renovation added the rooftop Skypool, a panoramic infinity pool cantilevered above the valley with uninterrupted views of the Cima Dodici and Croda Rossa massifs. The 2,200 m² spa, warm timber architecture, and proximity to both the Tre Cime ski area and summer hiking trails have made it one of South Tyrol's most sought-after alpine escapes. BLOOM furnished the Skypool deck with sun loungers and the suite balconies with woven lounge seating — pieces selected to complement the hotel's material palette of larch, stone, and glass. At 1,310 metres, where alpine winters bring sub-zero temperatures and summer sun reflects off stone faces, the furniture was built to hold its form and comfort across both seasons of an all-year mountain hotel.
