AIDAdiva
Sun loungers, bar furniture, and pool deck seating for the first ship in AIDA's fleet-wide Evolution modernisation programme.

Project Overview
When AIDAdiva emerged from a seven-week refit at Chantier Naval Marseille in March 2025, she was no longer simply a well-loved Sphinx-class ship with eighteen years of service — she was the first vessel to carry the signature of the AIDA Evolution programme, a fleet-wide initiative to bring AIDA's most popular ships into a new era of design and guest comfort. The transformation was most visible on the open decks. A brand-new Sky Deck now crowns the upper superstructure — an exclusive retreat for suite guests, sheltered by a retractable glass canopy that lets in natural light while shielding from wind and spray. BLOOM furnished this space with handwoven sun loungers that invite long, unhurried afternoons high above the waterline, where the only sound is the sea. One deck below, the Lanai Bar was reimagined as a sunset destination: an open-air bar where guests gather around BLOOM bar stools and standing tables as the horizon shifts from gold to violet. Across the redesigned pool deck, BLOOM loungers and seating complete the picture — a coherent outdoor language that ties the ship's new spaces together. Every piece was specified for the demands of a Mediterranean and Northern European programme: marine-grade synthetic fibre, corrosion-resistant aluminium frames, and quick-drying upholstery that performs beautifully from the first embarkation in Hamburg to the last port of call in the Canaries.
