Frequently Asked Questions

Orders for BLOOM are placed through this website or in person at our Tauranga and Mount Maunganui showrooms — there's no third-party dealer network. Once your deposit clears, the order is confirmed and production begins at our Indonesian facility. Both showrooms also hold stock of selected pieces for immediate availability.
Approximately 10–14 weeks in total — 10 weeks of production at our Indonesian facility, followed by about 3 weeks of ocean freight to New Zealand. Production starts as soon as the deposit clears; in-stock pieces from the showrooms are available immediately. We recommend ordering before the start of the season.
Free delivery within Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty on orders over $1,000 NZD; under $1,000 in those regions, a $100 flat fee. Remaining North Island: approximately $150 per cubic metre. South Island: approximately $250 per cubic metre. Orders over $15,000 ship NZ-wide free of charge. Self-pickup from the Tauranga or Mount Maunganui showrooms is available.
Once the container reaches New Zealand, delivery is coordinated by our regional team — typically within a day or two of port arrival. About a week beforehand, the team gets in touch to schedule the exact delivery slot and any access requirements. An all-round service, coordinated end-to-end by our partner network, is available on request.
BLOOM furniture is made to order, which under New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act means the standard cooling-off provisions for distance sales don't apply once production has begun. The statutory guarantees — acceptable quality, fit for purpose, matches description — are fully honored: anything that arrives damaged or doesn't match the order is replaced or repaired at no cost.
